This is a very stylish and rare cigarette roll top lid / storage box.

Carl Auböck II (1900-1957) is one of the most extraordinary figures of
Austrian modernism. After working as an apprentice bronze worker and engraver
for his family business in the early 1900′s, he went on to be a student at the
Bauhaus in Weimar. Once graduated, he took over his father’s workshop and in
the early 40′s he developed a very particular style, which many consider
modernist. In fact, he became the face of Austrian modernism.

Condition:
The roll top box is in very good vintage condition, with consummate wear for
age and use. please take a good look at the photos.
