1960s Tooled Leather Southwestern Top Handle Purse with Turnkey Clasp

Add a little “South of the Border” flare to your look with this fabulous
vintage purse!

This handbag was made during the 1960s. It is constructed from genuine
leather, with brass and lucite hardware.

The tooled leather design on this purse is very eye-catching! Flowers and leaf
designs decorate the front and back of the purse. A darker brown stitch borders
the edges of the bag and contrasts nicely against the auburn brown.

The body of the bag measures 8 inches wide, by 6.5 inches tall, and 2 inches
deep. It is large enough to hold all of the daily essentials such as your
phone, wallet, keys, lipstick, etc. The strap is in very good condition and
hangs about 4.5 inches long. The snap leather loops that connect the strap to
the body of the bag are great for threading a decorative scarf!

The purse secures with a brass and tortoise shell colored lucite clasp. The
turnkey clasp opens to reveal a dark brown leather interior. There are 2 inside
pockets that are perfect for cash or credit cards. The inside shows some signs
of age, but is still in good shape.

Please note that the side of the bag sticks out on one side (see photos). It
is less noticeable when the bag is full, and could easily be disguised with a
scarf. Over all this handbag is in good vintage condition and has a lot of life
left in it! The leather is nicely distressed yet not dried out, and it was
stored in a smoke-free environment.
