Our Canggu style straw bag is unlike the rest. It's a practical choice for
everyday use. The Canggu is a medium sized, hard case rectangular bag with an
adjustable strap.Available with a genuine leather or vegan leather adjustable
strap. Choose from one of our exclusive cotton or linen linings or opt for a
surprise Balinese batik fabric. Big enough to fit the essentials, including the
iPhone plus.

HOW IT’S MADE

Did you know it takes ONE MONTH to make one Rattan bag? That's because each of
our Bali Bags is handcrafted from start to finish by artisans in Bali.
◖Made from a vine native to the volcanic foothills on the island of Bali.
First, the stems are braided to create unique patterns, then dried in the sun
for several days.
◖After drying, the rattan bags are toasted over coconuts, which strengthens
the rattan and gives them their beautiful golden color and initial toasty aroma.
◖Finally, the adjustable leather strap and buckle are attached, and the fabric
is sewn to the interior.

TOASTY AROMA

When you receive your rattan purse you may notice a temporary toasty aroma
(that will fade over time), which comes from the process of toasting it over
coconut husks. This process is a key part of making these Bali rattan bags, as
it hardens the material, making it more durable, and gives the rattan bag its
toasty brown color. It is also the signature of an authentic Bali rattan bag.
If you purchase a rattan purse and no aroma is present, it may be a knockoff
that was painted brown to look authentic.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Spot clean with warm water. Please keep in mind, this bag is made from natural
fibers and may not rub well against delicate fabrics.
